FACT! Singing makes you feel happier and better about yourself and reduces levels of stress. Come and join one of our choirs and feel how good it is to sing with others. You’ll meet new friends, have a sense of belonging, work together as a team, challenge yourself, learn to sing harmonies, develop your listening and coordination skills, improve both your physical and mental wellbeing, all whilst we will make sure you have bundles of fun at the same time as learning to sing the songs that you love!

Choir Level : Junior
Junior Choir
Ages 8-13The Junior Show Choir offers our youngest pupils to learn about teamwork, listening, safe singing, singing together (in harmony), collaboration, singing styles and most importantly, having fun! For 75 mins a week they will learn to sing with a better technique, learn to be disciplined in how they sing and practice singing, meet and make lifelong friends, all whilst developing as young people. They will extend their vocal skills to ensure they are ready to transfer to the Senior Show Choir once they reach 14 years of age. The Junior choir will work towards a performance for parents and friends at the end of every term. Some solo opportunities may arise.

Choir Level : Senior
Senior Choir
Ages 14-18The Senior Show Choir offers pupils the opportunity to strengthen and develop both their choral and vocal skills as young performers. Singing regularly in multiple parts, these 75-minute sessions will develop further their skills in teamwork, listening, singing together, collaboration, singing in various genres and establishing a vocal technique that will see them through into adulthood and beyond. By the end of year 13 they will be ready to progress to the Adult Show Choir. The Senior choir will work towards a performance for parents and friends at the end of every term. Some solo opportunities may arise, especially for those having individual lessons and who are actively pursuing a place at a Performing Arts Academy or in a career as a professional singer.
