Rob, formerly the Choral Manager and Director of the world-famous BBC Singers, has worked and recorded with many top names in the singing world, including Elton John, Sting, Kylie Minogue, Biffy Clyro, Jarvis Cocker, Robin Gibb, Mike Oldfield, Dusty Springfield, Labrinth, Il Divo, The Opera Babes, Jackie Evancho, Susan Boyle and Collabro.

Rob, a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, has been teaching and coaching in London since the 1990s and in the UAE since 2018. He was the classical vocal coach on the hit TV show Britain’s Got Talent working closely with Simon Cowell, and his choir recorded the backing tracks for BGT, America’s Got Talent and the X-Factor.

Rob specialises in technical development and securing a sustainable and safe vocal technique. He is in demand as both a teacher/vocal coach to many stars of screen, TV and the recording industries, as well as those in all genres of professional and amateur singing. Two of Rob’s pupils have reached Number 1 in the UK Classical Chart with their debut albums.

As a professional soloist, Rob has performed worldwide with some of the world’s leading orchestras and conductors including at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the BBC Proms. He has also recorded extensively on CD, Radio, TV and film soundtracks, which includes playing the part of the Venetian Opera singer in the feature film Dorian Gray.

Rob is also a sought-after conductor and choir trainer and runs his own London-based company, RSVP VOICES. Rob’s choirs have recorded film and TV soundtracks for Harry Potter films, Finding Neverland, Shazam, IT (chapter 2), The Flash, Enola Holmes 2, The Tourist, Downton Abbey, Dr Who, Fleabag, The Crown, War and Peace, Napoleon, King Arthur, Silent Witness, and most recently the latest addition to the spectacular Alien series of films, Alien: Romulus. Rob is also the Musical Director of the Dubai Opera Festival Chorus (Festival Chorus), performing across the UAE with artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Morricone and film scores of Pirates of the Caribbean, Gladiator and Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Rob conducted RSVP VOICES and the Royal Choral Society at a gala concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London, featuring the pianist Lang Lang.

Rob has recently been appointed the inaugural Musical Director of the newly formed National Youth Choirs of the UAE  and has also created his own new chamber choir, NABRA, the first semi-professional chamber choir in the UAE.

Rob also conducts and sings with RSVP VOICES on many advertising campaigns including the current Just Eat/UEFA Champions League campaign which can be heard worldwide, recording the jingle in 17 different languages!
